        CHARACTER

The Water Elemental Dog is highly intuitive, cautious, and sensitive. Water Dogs have a quiet wisdom and often seem to "feel" things on a deeper level.

When balanced, a Water Dog is thoughtful, peaceful, and deeply attuned to their surroundings. They are gentle, loyal companions who provide comfort and emotional depth. They absorb emotions deeply, making them prone to fear-based reactions, anxiety, and withdrawal.

        Motivation: Survival

        Balanced

        A balanced Water Dog is:
Intuitive and deep-thinking – Sensitive and wise.
Independent and reserved – Prefers observing before engaging.
Gentle and affectionate (on their terms) – Forms deep but selective bonds.

        Unbalanced

Shy and fearful – Avoids new situations.
Timid or withdrawn – Can appear disconnected.
Sensitive to stress – Prone to anxiety-based behaviors.

        ENERGY

Water is the Element of Wisdom

5 Element relationships: Fed by Metal- controlled by Earth- controls Fire

        Meridians: Kidney /Bladder

Chakras: SACRAL and THROAT. Emotion: Fear

        Color: Blue/Black
Blue and black symbolize depth, intuition, and mystery, mirroring the Water Dog’s sensitive and introspective nature. These colors promote calmness but can also deepen isolation.

How Blue/Black Affect a Water Dog:

Encourage emotional balance and inner peace.

Support kidney and bladder health (Water’s associated organs).

Too much dark blue or black can increase fear or withdrawal.

        Ways to use Blue/Black:

A soft blue blanket for calm, restful sleep.

Freshwater fish in their diet for hydration and kidney support.

Walks by water help to restore balance.

GUARDIAN BOND with your Water Dog

Your Water Dog sees the world through intuition and emotional depth.

They need a guardian who is gentle, patient, and energetically grounded.

Be the calm they can return to.

Speak softly, move slowly and never force their affection.

When they feel truly safe, they’ll open up with immense devotion and an almost magical connection that transcends words.
